Cyber Security Analyst

About the Role

We are looking for a Cyber Security Analyst to safeguard our infrastructure, respond to threats, and enforce security best practices. You will analyze vulnerabilities, handle incidents, and strengthen our security posture.

Responsibilities

• Monitor systems for suspicious activity and security breaches
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
• Investigate security incidents and coordinate response efforts
• Implement and maintain security policies and best practices
• Perform risk analysis and mitigation planning
• Work with engineering teams to secure applications and services
• Manage identity and access controls
• Prepare security reports and compliance documentation

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity
• Strong knowledge of SIEM tools, firewalls, and IDS/IPS
• Experience conducting vulnerability assessments
• Knowledge of cloud security (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Understanding of cryptography, authentication, and security protocols
• Familiarity with incident response frameworks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with compliance standards (ISO 27001, SOC2)

Nice to Have

• Certifications (CEH, CISSP, Security+)
• Experience with DevSecOps practices
• Knowledge of Linux and scripting languages
• Experience in threat intelligence platforms
• Background in network security architecture
