About the Role
We are seeking a Data Engineer to build scalable data pipelines, optimize storage solutions, and enable data-driven decision making across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines
- Build and optimize data architectures and storage systems
- Integrate data from multiple sources into unified systems
- Collaborate with data analysts and scientists
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and accessibility
- Implement data governance and security best practices
- Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows
- Optimize data processing for performance and cost-efficiency
Requirements
- 6+ years of data engineering experience
- Strong SQL skills and experience with data modeling
- Experience with big data tools (Spark, Kafka, Hadoop)
- Proficiency in Python or Scala
- Knowledge of cloud data platforms (BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake)
- Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines
- Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices
- Strong analytical skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with machine learning pipelines
- Knowledge of dbt or Airflow
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases
- Experience with real-time data streaming
- Background in data warehousing
- Contributions to open-source data tools
