Senior DevOps Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our infrastructure team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring high availability of our services.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools
• Monitor system performance and implement solutions for high availability and disaster recovery
• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes
• Automate repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency
• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide on-call support when needed

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Proficiency in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or Go)
• Experience with CI/CD tools and practices
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and system administration
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with serverless architectures
• Knowledge of GitOps practices
• Experience with multi-cloud deployments
• Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, etc.)
• Experience with database administration and optimization
• Familiarity with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd)
